THE launch of the new Suzuki Swift Sport took place at the Airport Mall in Berakas on Saturday, attracting large numbers of car enthusiasts to the venue.
Organised by Boustead Sdn Bhd, the event also saw the presence of nearly 30 members from the Swift Club Brunei, who parked their Suzuki Swift cars in front of the mall's main entrance to create an impressive display.
The ceremony was officiated by the Branch Manager of Boustead Sdn Bhd, James Wong who expressed his excitement for the new Suzuki Swift Sport, as well as his pleasure at seeing a large crowd gathered for the event.
Also present at the event were members of Boustead management, Marketing Manager Lim Jin Lee and event guest of honour, Finance Director Lim Geok Ching, who was the first to take a closer look at the car.
According to a press release from Boustead, the new Swift model offers a sporty performance with high levels of sophistication, comfort and environmental performance for a better driving experience.
Improvements have been made to the car's handling, stability and driver control, and customers have the choice of buying either the six-speed manual or the CVT automatic transmission, though the former is said to have better fuel economy. The Brunei Times
